In 2021 Venice reaches 1600 years from its foundation, which is traced back to March 25 of the year 421. Savinelli, in collaboration with the Achademia de la Pipa in Vinegia, is happily present at the event with the production of 421 celebratory pipes, numbered and original for enthusiasts and collectors.
The pipe for the important anniversary of the Serenissima is adorned with a blue methacrylate ring to recall the waves of the lagoon, but above all, applied to the briar, by a stylized silver gondola iron, the symbol of Venice known throughout the world. Also in the same lagoon color is the dedicated pipe cleaner included in the package, in authentic Murano glass, produced for the occasion on the island of glass by the Ragazzi Sas company.
The advent of this celebratory pipe has obtained the patronage of the Municipality of Venice, the Association of Gondoliers and the Italian Federation of Pipe Clubs.This pipe is a straight Dublin with a conical pot and round barrel.
