In 1982 Professor Enrico Fabri discovered a four-page document in which some inventions were collected which could appear to be the work of "Leonardo da Vinci". Numerous studies have been carried out on these four pages: on pigments, materials, graphic style; there was also a test with carbon 14 with the result of scientifically determining the authorship and age of the document: a "Leonardo da Vinci" of 1510. Among the studies of this document there is one that concerns a particular request of the King of France Louis XII: "a pipe as cold as possible". Leonardo da Vinci devised a double-walled terracotta pipe, cooled by the air circulating in the cavity. Now Ser Jacopo's challenge is to realize Leonardo da Vinci's project and make it tangible, with the same technical devices but with a different material: the "Barla". Thus was born "Leonardo", the pipe that does not heat up, an object full of history and genius.
